Sir Sefton himself was of the opinion that gliding would be an excellent education /or aviators and predicted the time was not distunLwhen it would be possible to reach London from Edinburgh in, a motorless glider. “Then there will be ’a? ? |ji]eat rush of Scotsmen to London,” he saw. Sir Sefton Brancker annogrjqed that Lord Wakefield, the oil magnate, had donated the association £1000.;
