FREE TRADE CAMPAIGN.
ACTIVITY IN BRITAIN. LONDON, April 9. According to tile Times, plans have been drawn up for a freetrade campaign throughout the country. It ha 6 been arranged to hold after Easter a conference of business .men, trade unionists, co-operators, and economists for the purpose of stating the case for freetrade under modern conditions. The conference will be followed by public demonstrations in . the leading centres. It is suggested that Mr Philip Snowden and Mr Lloyd George may be seen on the same platform at the Albert Hall. Arrangements are being made to open a fund.
