TAKARO CUP. Tlie Takaro Cup changed hands yesterday, Manawatu defeating Palmerston North by 19 points to 17. The challengers were represented by Gilbert, Cutler, King, Barnes (skip) and Palmerston North by Giorgi, Boon, Griggs, Paton (skip). AINSLIE SHIELD. Another trolly to change hands was the Ainslie Shield, Terrace End wresting it from Northern by 35 points to 33. Scores were as follow, Northern rinks being first mentioned :—.Andrew, Parkes, McKee, Bennett (skip) 19 v. Hine, Dixon, Munro, Snell (skip) 16; H. Stallard, A. E. Lynch, S. .Parsons, Stevens (skip) 14 v. McLachlan, Mochan,' Hyland, Wort (skip) 19. PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB. Palmerston North, holders of the Manson and Barr Cup, will be represented by Mowlem, J. H. Nash, C. D. Fraser and N. H. Nash (skip) on Saturday when they will defend the trophy against Manawatu. Two rinks entered for the Easter tournament —Ross, Holdaway, E. Spencer, Bary (skip) and J.
