TENNIS. (From Our Own Correspondent). ' RANGIOTU, April 8. Tho defeat of Glen Oroua at tho handa of Rangiotu at Glen Oroua last Saturday makes this its seventh successive victory for tho season, thereby establishing' record display for the local club smeo its inception. Rangiotu won by 10 sots and 81 games to six sets and 65 games. Ine visitors were well entertained t homo team and, the weather being ideal, a pleasant afternoon’s sport was • enjoyea by all. Mr and Mrs Prebble kindly invited some of the players to their homestead to play as the club's single court waa overtaxed and so the whole match was got through in good timo. Arrangements have been completed for playing * match against the Marotiri Maori Club on the local courts during the week when it is anticipated a good series of games wilt be the result. MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. The second weekly shoot of the Miniature Rifle Club was held last Monday evening when there was only a fan attendance.
