BAINESSE.
. (From Our Own Correspondent.) BAINESSE, April 7. A social evening was held to raise funds for the requirements for the tennis court and as a result the sum of £3 15s was handed in. Mr L. Burling and Miss Robertson won tho Monte Carlo waltz. Mr S. Pearce acted as M.C. Miss McKenzie supplied excellent musio for the dances and Mr G. Millard obliged with extras. On Friday evening next a social evening is to be tendered Miss McKenzie. For many years past Miss McKenzie has always most generously obliged any movement, both social and benefit functions ,in many districts by giving her eervices at the piano, and a large gathering of friend* is expected for the evening.
