MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SANDON, April 4. A mooting of members of tho Miniature Riflo Club was held on. Wednesday evening. Mr A. K. Drow was voted 1 to tho chair. Mr A. W. Lumsden reported that Mr Jones and himself had inspected tho hall and that an excellent range could bo made, Messrs A. IC. Drow," A. W. Lumsden and E. A. Jones wore appointed to meet the hall trustees and discuss the question. for the year wero elected as follow: —Patron, Mr A. W. Lumsden; president, Mr W. S. Penny; vice-presidents, Messrs W. E. Pearce, A.. K. Drew, T. Murphy, Job Harris, F. W. Tostovin, Jas. Harris, and E. Lawreneo; committee, Messrs P. Gcdge, K. Pearce, K. Lumsden, E. Wilcock, D. Grace, E. A. Jones, R. Signal, I. Edwards, A. Mitchell; lion. secretary, Mr E. A. Jones, pro tem; trustees. Messrs A. W. Lumsden and A. K. Drew; coach, Mr K. Lumsdon; social committee, Messrs T. Murphy, C. Forbes J'... IC. Lumsden, K. Pearce, G. Nicol, R.Nicol and E. A. Jones. Tho annual subscription was fixed, at 10s for adults and 7s 6d for members under 18 yoars of ago. A hearty vote of thanks ended a very enthusiastic mooting. MAIN HIGHWAYS. A start has been made with top dressing tho Sandon Bulls length of highway.
