OUTBREAKS OF FIRE

HOUSES IN HUTT VALLEY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 21. Two houses in the Hutt Valley, each two-storeyed structures, were destroyed to-night. One was a boardinghouse containing about 20 rooms, situated in the main street of Lower Hutt. The owner is Mrs Ireland, of Auckland. The alarm for this was received at 7.45 o’clock. At 8.30 o’clock the Petone brigade was called to a ten-roomed apartment house on the Hutt road. Both places were completely gutted. BLAZE NEAP* WHAKATANE. AA'HAKATANE, March 21.
