MCVILLY SHIELD. WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. The McVilly Shield, awarded to the club obtaining most points in championship placings at the Wellington Provincial Amateur Athletic Championships was retained by the \Yellington Club by a very substantial margin. as a result of the club members performances at Petone on Saturday afternoon. University is second, with less than half Wellington’s total and the remaining clubs tail off still rurpoints scored are as follow: Wellington Club 76 1-3, University Club 31, Olympic Club 26, Uairarapa 22 1-3, Masterton 10 1-3.
