CANADIAN WHEAT POOLS.

VANCOUVER, Feb. 93. Following a meeting at Regina, Saskatchewan, with officials of the three provincial wheat pools in AVestern Canada, the Premiers of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Alanitoba issued a joint statement that uniform legislation had been arranged covering the guarantee to be given to the banks for their advances to tho pool up to the present timo and to adequately finance the balance of last year’s crop. It has been made plain that their action has been taken only in order to supplement the undertaking already arranged, and not because there is any impairment of the pools’ margin with the banks, as the pools have at present on deposit with the banks collateral security, valued at current market prices at more than fifteen per cent, in excess of tho total loans of the banks to the pools.
