CHINESE TURMOIL
WARLIKE PREPARATIONS. TROOPS FOR NANKING. RAILWAY SERVICES DISRUPTED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received February 25, 11.0 a.m. SHANGHAI, Feb. 24. Three hundred car loads of Government troops entrained here for Nanking. The ultimate destination is believed to be Hsuchowfu, a strategic point on the Tientsin-Pukwo railway. The troop movements have completely disrupted the railway services between Shanghai and Nanking. Warlike preparations of an intense nature are reported to be proceeding at Nanking in anticipation of the launching of a campaign to suppress the Yen Hsi-shan rebellion.
Fighting is reported to have occurred already in the vicinity of Linchang.
