PERJURY CHARGE.

TWO WOMEN FOR SENTENCE. Per Press Association. MASTERTON,' Feb. 24. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Athol J. Buckley and two women, whose names were suppressed, were charged with perjury, in connection with a fatal motor collision in October, in which Mrs Emma Smith lost her life. The case against Buckley was ad-' journed until Friday. The two women pleaded guilty to having made false statements at the inquest concerning the number of passengers in the car, which was driven by Buckley, and were committed to the Masterton Supreme Court for sentence.
