MOTOR CYCLE SPORTS
MEETING AT RAUAIAI RESERVE,. A successful picnic and gymkhana were held by the Alanawatu Alotorcycle Club at the Raumai reserve during the week-end. A largo number of spectators and competitors was present, and the outing proved a thoroughly enjoyable one. The two tourists’ trophy events were a feature of the programme. These races called for skilful riding and caused considerable excitement. Results of the events are as follow: j Apple-eating.—T. Holden 1, N. Palmer 2, R. AA’eston 3. Balloon bursting.—T.
