NAVAL FATALITY
EXPLOSION IN GUN TURRET. THIRTEEN DEAD. NUMBER SERIOUSLY INJURED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.—United Service.) Received July 27, 10.0 a.m. MALTA, July 26. An explosion occurred to-day in the gun turret of the cruiser Devonshire. There are thirteen dead, and a number seriously and critically injured. The turret was blown to pieces.
