HOCKEY.
FRIENDLY MATCH. A friendly hockey match was played on the High School grounds on Saturday between Technical and High School teams. High School, after an interesting contest in which some flashes of bright play were seen, won by five goals to nil. Mr Blackbourn refereed.
GAMES AT. FEILDING. The hockey matches played at Feilding on Saturday resulted as follow: Ladies. —Hinekoa 3 v. H.S.O.G. 1; Carnarvon 6 v. Colyton 0; Kia Ora a bye. Men.—Beaconsfield 5 v. Stanway 3; Carnarvon 3 v. Colyton 2. Pirates defaulted to Wanderers. RESULTS IN OTHER CENTRES. Wellingtop.—Senior A: Wellington 5 v. Petone 1; Karori 4 v. University B 2; Hutt 4 v. Y.M.C.A. 2; University A 3 v. Wesley 2. Senior B: Huia 2 v. Training College 1: Karori 4 v. Wesley 2; Varsity 8 v. Y.M.C.A. 4. Auckland.—Men: North Shore 2 v. Sommerville 1; Mt. Eden 2 v.
