Rain all over the country interfered with the county cricket matches. The results were as follow: Warwick v. Middlesex: Warwick in the first innings made 197 (Peebles 4 for 61, Robins 4 for 72). Middlesex in the first innings made 273 for 9 (Hendren 74). Middlesex won on the first innings. Glamorgan v. Yorkshire: Glamorgan in the first innings made 146 (Le.vland 5 for 44, Rhodes 4 for 30), Yorkshire in the first innings made 147 for 5 (Holmes not out 72). Yorkshire won on the first innings. Somerset v. Leicester: Somerset in the first innings made 105 (Geary 4 for 40) and in the second 61 (Astill 8 for 23). Leicester in the first innings compiled 126 (Wellard 6 for 55, White 4 for 44) and in the second innings 42 for 6 (White 4 for 9). Leicester won by four wickets. Lancashire v. Kent: Lancashire in the first innings made 174 (Ashdown 5 for 52) and in the second innings 92 for 1. Kent in the first innings made 215 (Hardinge 86). Kent won on the first innings. Gloucester v. Oxford: Gloucester m the first innings made 184 for 5 and declared. Oxford in the first innings made 223 for 6. The game was drawn. Cambridge v.
