COMMITTEE’S REPORT SIGNED. BRIEF CEREMONY AT PARIS. DELEGATES RETURNING TO HOMES. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) > (Australian Press Association.) Received June 8, 9.50 a.m. PARIS, June 7. The report of the Experts’ Committee dealing with the German reparations was signed this evening. There was a brief ceremony, at the conclusion of which, Mr Owen Young, the chief American delegate, congratulated his colleagues. The delegates rapidly exchanged farewells. They are returning to their homes forthwith. Sir Josiah Stamp has gone to London. He is leaving on Saturday on a Mediterranean cruise. RHINELAND EVACUATION. (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, June 7. The Daily Express understands that the Allies’ preparations for the evacuation of the Rhineland have advanced and will probably be carried out in October. , ~ The report of the Experts’ Committee makes no allowance for any payments from Germany after September 1 for the purpose of maintaining an Allied force on the Rhine.
