AERIAL PROGRESS.

HOBSONVILLE AERODROME. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, June 3. An invitation to naval and military veterans to inspect the Hobsonville Aei’odrome about three months hence was given by Major-General Young at the King’s Empii’e Veterans’ luncheon to-day.

The general remarked that though the Air Force had not veterans of its own as yet, it had very fine traditions. If any of the visitors wished to become “veterans of the air” ho had no doubt Major Isitt -would arrange to take them up for joy rides.
