YOUNG MAN’S DEATH.
Per Press Association. . TE KUITI, June 3. At the inquest on Sunday night con* cerning the death of Desmond George Mathew, aged 23, who was lulled through the capsizing of a car when negotiating a liaii*pin bend, a verdict of accidental death was returned. The Coroner added a rider that this spot should be safeguai’ded for motorists. Mr Mathew, sen., the father of deceased, who was also_ in the car, recently retired from the Police Force in which he held the i-ank of sergeant! He was well known in Te Kuiti, Ham! llton and Greymouth. He is now in the hospital at Te Kuiti suffering from
