COAL INDUSTRY.
MORE STOPPAGES IN N.S.W
Received June 3, 2.5 p.m. SYDNEY, June 3. A strike at two Southern coal mines has rendered ”00 men idle at Scarborough. The stoppage is due to the refusal of the mind's’ request to reinstate a man who had walked off the job. The result of these strikes will be serious for the Northern collieries men, for whom miners at work are levied 124 per cent.
