DEATH OF EARL’S SON.
(British Official Wireless.) Received May 28, 11.50 a.m. RUGBY, May 27.
Viscount Mervyn Herbert, the youngest son of the fourth Earl of Carnarvon, died at Rome as the result of an attack of pneumonia following malaria, which he contracted on the journey from Albama, where he was well-known and a frequent visitor. Viscount Herbert was aged 47.
