KILLED BY TRAIN.
BODY UNDER VIADUCT. Per Press Association. , AUCKLAND, April 2. The remains of a body that has been identified as that of Mr M. Clarke, of New Lynn, were discovered under the Avondale viaduct by the driver of an incoming city train early tins morning. A return ticket to Newmarket was found in a pocket. It is surmised that he was walking along the line last night and was shockingly mutilated by » passing train.
