WALL STREET PRICES.
VIOLENT DROP. (Australian Press Association.) Received April 2, 12.55 p.m. NEW YORK, April 1. Prices dropped violently on the Stock Exchange to-day, with a general loss of from one to twelve points. All the leading issues suffered losses, blit some rallied slightly toward the close.
Much uneasiness was felt owing to the meeting of the Federal Reserve Governors at Washington, hut no definite announcements were given out by them.
