MOTOR-CYCLE RACING.
NEW RECORD ESTABLISHED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, -March 31. About 13,000 people attended at Kilbirnie Stadium last night for . the dirt track motor cycle racing. Miss Fay Taylour failed in an effort to break the track record for one mile, her machine breaking down on entering the fourth lap. The record •was subsequently broken by Gus Clif- ! ton (Australia), who did the mile in 1.31 4-5. Tim New Zealand dirt track championship was won by D. Managh, of rialcombe, in-1.40 2-8. There were several spills, but no one was injured except Tui Morgan, who sustained slight concussion.
