SOCCER TOURNAMENT
ST. ANDREW’S BEAT R.S.A.
In the second semi-final of the St. Andrew’s association football tournament on-Saturday St. Andrew’s defeated R.S.A. by two goals to nil, thus earning the right to meet Thistle in the final to-day. "" The Saints were first away and a stirring raiU saw R.S.A. concede a corner, and strong pressure on the exsoldiers’ citadel saw the defence give and Corkindale shot a goal. Even play ensued and ‘then R.S.A. in turn attacked, but a corner gave them no advantage. St. Andrew's returned, Graham being called upon to effect a good save. Up and down play ensued till! half time. After change-over the Saints again pressed only for R.S.A. to rally and threaten danger, but Chilton in goal was equal to tile occasion. St. Andrew’s again advanced and Corkindale : secured his second goal.
