WANDERED FROM HOSPITAL. MISSING FOR THIRTY HOURS. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 29. A woman patient who disappeared from the New Plymouth Hospital at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, was found ai the back of Mr W. H. Bisliqp’s farm, Mangorei Road, this morning. She was still clad only in her night attire and \>-as in a very exhausted condition, her legs and feet being much swollen and scratched. In a straight line she had travelled a distance of about four miles from the institution in tho 30 hours she had been missing, but it is probable that actually she had wandered much further than that. She had been a patient at Opunake but had been removed to New Plymouth. She was returned to tho hospital in the ambulance.
