MANAWATU TOURNEY. FOURTH ROUND FINISHED. IMPROVED WEATHER CONDITIONS. The fourth round of the Manawatu Bowling Centre’s Easter tournament was concluded this morning under greatly improved weather conditions compared with those of yesterday, and the greens were playing well. Sectional play was advanced one stage further this morning than was reached at the end of yesterday’s play. The Mayor paid a visit to the various greens during the day. An exhibit of considerable interest in the pavilion of the Palmerston North Club was the fine collection of nearly 200 badges of* bowling clubs collected by Mr M. J. Suhan, of Levin, during the tour of New Zealand bowlers in Australia, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Canada and the United States.

With the first three rounds of the Marlborough Bowling Centre’s Easter tournament completed none of the visiting rinks lias an unbroken record though seven of the local rinks have three wins to their credit.
