GUIDE INJURED
RESCUE PARTY SET OUT. Per Press Association. • HOKITIKA, March 30. Guide Larsen, while crossing the Copeland Pass from the Hermitage, received injuries as the result of losing control while glissading a party consisting of one lady .and a second guide. The injured man was left at Douglas Rock after many hours’ painful travelling. A rescue party has been sent out from Kanaifgarua, • but is being handicapped by the swollen creeks.
