BIG SYDNEY FIRE.
DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT £150,000. SYDNEY, March 29. A disastrous fire, the biggest that has occurred in Sydney for a long time, broke out at four o’clock this morning at Parbury’s bond and free stores, on the waterfront at Miller’s Point. •
The buildings, also their valuable contents of wool, newspaper, _ motorcars, paints and oils, and miscellaneous merchandise, were destroyed. The damage is estimated at £150,000.
The fire made a wonderfully spectacular sight in the early morning.
