OROUA DOWNS.
At the sixth annual meeting of the Oroua Downs Miniature Rifle Club, there was a good and enthusiastic number present. Mr E. Fergusson, last season’s president, in his report regretted that tho club had fallen back owing to smaller membership and higher expenses. The balance-sheet and profit and loss account were adopted. Mr E. Conlan was.elected president for the ensuing ?,year, 'and in his unavoidable absence Mr A. Jamieson took- the chair. The following were elected the committee: —Messrs J. Conlan, V. Groom, L. Shailer and E. Fergusson (secretary). The club is to commence shooting on April Btb. It was decided to purchase three medals £pr weekly competition in the A, B and C classes to be won outright by the members holding the badges the greatest number of weeks. Mr L. Shailer donated a trophy for competition.
