MANAWATU TOURNAMENT. Further games were decided this morning in the annual tournament of the hlanawatu Croquet Association. Play has now reached the second round or semi-final stages in most sections. Showers this morning made the greens slightly heavier, but no cessation of play was necessary. Results up to one p.m. to-day wero as follow: CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. A. Grade. Second round. —Mrs Jamieson beat Mrs Bruce, 26—11. B. Grade. Semi-final. —Mrs May won by default from Mrs Legge. HANDICAP SINGLES. A. Grade. Second round.—Mrs Kirk (3) beat Mrs Spring (4), 26 —16. CLUB PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP. Semi-final. —Mesdames Gambrill and Campbell beat Mis 3 McFarlane aud Mrs Langford, 26—20.
