TIDAL WAVE IN JAPAN.
(Australian Press Association.) TOKIO, March 1. The vernacular Press report terrible dnmage on the Chosi coast, where whole villages have been destroyed by tidal waves. The coastline is caving in for many miles, burying villages in some cases to a depth of 12 feet. The casualties are not reported.
