DOMINION CONFERENCE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 1. At the New Zealand Methodist Conference the election of district chairmen resulted: Auckland, Rev. E. Drake; South Auckland, Rev. W. A. Burley; Taranaki-Wanganui, Rev. W. W. Avery; Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu, Rev. F. Copeland; Wellington, Rev. E. D. Patchctt; Nelson, Rev. P. N. Night; North Canterbury. Rev. A. N. Scotter; South Canterbury, Rev. W. Grigg; Otago-Southland, Rev. H. E. Bell house; Solomon Islands, Rev. J. F. Goldie. The following were returned as synod secretaries:—Auckland: Mr F. E. Leadley; South Auckland, Rev. E. E. Sago; Taranaki-Wanganui, Rev. R. B. Gosnell; Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu, Rev. F. J. Parker; Wellington, Rev. C. H. Olds; Nelson, Rev. G. E. Brown; North Canterbury, Rev. A. H. Fowles; South Canterbury, Rev. R. B. Tinsley; Otago-Southland, Rev. W. H. Hocking. The second draft of tire appointment sheet for home missionaries was ratified without alteration. The changes in the posting of home missionaries outside of Auckland province are as follow: —Norsewood, Mr. C. Duncan; Feilding, Mr T. Thornley; Porirua, Mr W. Trafford; Masterton, Mr H. Dyson; Paraparaumu, Mr W. H. "Wilson ; Havelock (Nelson) Mr C. E. Koke ; Picton, Mr S. Keen; North East Valley, Dunedin, Mr L. C. Elmsley; Mosgiel. Mr J. W. Bayliss; Cromwell, Mr E. E. Orr. The second draft on the stationing sheet .appointing ministers to their posts for the coming year as previously published, was ratified with one alteration ; Rev. W. Wills was posted to Te Awamutu in place of Rev. C. Blair who will occupy the charge at Lyttelton to which Mr Wills was originally appointed.
