THEFT OF BICYCLES.
Per Press Association. . , . TIMARU, Feb. 28. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day before Mr C. R. Orr-Walker, S.M., Gilbert Hendal Maurice Mayo, watchmaker and jeweller, of Timaru, pleaded guilty of three charges of thefts of bicycles. The magistrate refused ail aplication for the suppression of accused’s name and sentenced him to six months’ reformative detention on one charge and convicted him on tho others; accused was also ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
