ELECTRICAL DISTURBANCES LIKELY. The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day:—The indications are for moderate to strong northerly winds, after about 20 hours backing by west to south. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather; later cloudy and unsettled. The indications are for electrical disturbances, and the weather will probably become colder. The barometer is falling, but will be rising slowly after about 16 hours. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. 7 a.m., Ift.; noon, 9in.
