SPIRIT OF AUSTRALIA.
HURLEY’S PROGRESS,
(Australian Press Association.) SOURABAYA, Nov. 6. Tho Spirit of Australia, in which Captain Frank Hurley is flying to England, attempted to take off from the naval aorodroine at Sourabaya for Victoria Point at daybreak, but bad conditions on the surface compelled the discharge of half the load. Captain Hurley is now proceeding to Batavia, where he will land to take a capacity load for Victoria Point. He plans to set out for Victoria Point at three o’clock to-morrow morning.
BERMUDA FLIGHT POSTPONED.

Received November-7, 9.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 6. A message received from Norfolk states: “The cruise of tho Flying Fish to Bermuda has been postponed owing to the illness of a member of Captain Lyon’s family. The ’plane is, to return to New York to-day. The flight may bo attempted later.
