GREEN INSTRUCTIONS.
(United Service.) LONDON, Oct. 28. The Daily Alail states that the “silent film” instruction threatens the position of the sergeant-major as the terror of recruits. A London territorial regiment is testing a scheme for showing recruits drill movements upon the screen before they are placed in the awkward squad. It is believed that the more intelligent men would learn more quickly than by the sergeantmajor’s sarcasm.
