EXPENDITURE OF £200,000. Expressing the opinion that the people of Palmerston North should regard .the foundation of the Massey Agricultural College at this centre as most fortunate, Mr J. A. Nash, speaking .-at the Opera House last night, commented that apparently many did not realise the value of that institution to the district. There would be an expenditure of £200,000, but quite apart from that the establishment of the college would bring a number of people to Palmerston North, which would eventually become the centre for agricultural university education.
