the man who sought revenge for being made to look and fe.el a fool. She played her part well in representing Beatrix’s mischievous sallies and suggesting . tho deeper emotional striving that underlay them. It is the story of tho daughter of a millionaire who, in search of adventure and relief from tho artificiality and luxury of her existence, visits tho studio of a Bohemian artist, and is there caught by members of her family. To save a scandal, sho says she is secretly married to Pelham Franklin, a wealthy batchelor, who lives in the same flat. Although tho family are appeased, the admission leads to complication. Tho dialogue is brilliant. The box plans arc now opon at the Opera House and. judging by tho already large number of seats booked, a big house is sure to greet the company on Monday evening.
