LOST FROM CRUISER.

BOY TELEGRAPHIST. SUVA, Sept. 5. William John Tunzelmann, a telegraphist on the cruiser Dunedin, was seen as usual to retire to his hammock at 11 o’clock on Monday evening. He was missed at daylight on Tuesday. The ship was searched and a fall inquiry made, but no evidence was forthcoming. It is believed that he was drowned.

Tunzelmann, who was aged 17 years, was a native of Invarcargill. He joined the Dunedin in February, transferring from the Philomel at Auckland.
