COAIING. ELECTION. REFORAI IN SOUTH ISLAND. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. There are persistent rumours in the lobbies that Air Janies Horn will not be a candidate for Wakatipu at the next election, in which case the general opinion is that the seat will be won by Reform, who have an excellent candidate in Air James Ritchie. Altogether tho prospects of Reform in tho South Island constituencies are particularly bright just now.
