TASMAN FLIGHT.
DATE OF COMMENCEMENT. ANNOUNCEMENT SHORTLY. Received July 28, 9.10 a.m. SYDNEY, July 28. The overhauling of the Southern Cross is nearly completed and tests will bo made next week. Captain Kingsford Smith and Mr C. T. Ulm will announce the date on which they will commence their flight across the Tasman to New Zealand immediately after the tests have been completed.
