Mr H. E. Holland, M.P., will address a meeting in tho Opera House on Monday, July 30th, at 8 p.m. This will be Mr Holland’s first public speech since tho opening of Parliament this session and he will deal with the problems of the present day. Whether there has been a big swing 'of public opinion in favour of the Labour Party will only bo deFermined when tho figures go up on election night. But it can bo said that keen interest is being taken in tho policy speeches made by tho Leader of the Opposition. On Monday next there is certain to be a crowded house to hear Mr Holland, and all who *are interested are advised to bo early to get a seat. His speech is of particular interest to the working farmer and tho business man, as well as the wage workers. Ilis Worship tho Mayor will preside.
