GENERAL ELECTION.
SOUTH DUNEDIN SEAT. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 27. • A strong deputation numbering nearly 2*3 and representing anti-Labour electors in the Dunedin South constituency, waited on Mr Charles Todd tonight and urged him to become a candidate for Dunedin South at the general election in the interests of the Reform Party. Mr Todd staged he had been asked to stand for the Central Otago seat, and before arriving at a decision ho wished to get in touch with some of the leading supporters of that electorate. He promised, however, to give a definite answer by Monday.
