STOWAWAY’S STORY
LONDON, July 2. That, after going to Australia in 1926, the only work lie could obtain was odd jobs on a farm was tlie reason given by George Dobson for stowing away on the liner,. Port Darwin when she left Australia last May. Two constables carried Dobson into court at Hull, where he was charged with being a stowaway on the Port Darwin. The police stated that Dobson and another stowaway were discovered in the bunkers on May 25. Both jumpeel on to the qugy at Hull. Dobson hurt Ids feet, was recaptured, and taken to hospital, and the other escaped. He was fined 40s, or four weeks gaol.
