KCSY THEATRE. TWO BIG DRAMAS. A stirring photodrama, based on a man’s lovo of country and a woman’s love of man, made sensational and spectacular by storms and a tremendous naval battle, will be seen at the Kosy to-night. It is “As No Man Has Loved.” This production, which comes from William Fox, is ono of the six most massive and expensive productions of recent years, and under- the skillful directing of Rowland V. Lee it takes high rank for artistic merit and daring treatment. Tho storm off tho, Carolina Capes, with a battleship floundering in the mountain-high waves, is hair-raisi’ng. Also, there is a stupendous battle scene between a ship-of-war and a huge pirate slave ship. In this thrilling fight six hundred men are engaged. These two mighty scenes are merely portions of a great story which has for its theme a love of o’no’s country a-nd o*ne’s the central figure being the mythical Lieutenant Nolan, who was lured from his duty by Aaron Burr, found guilty of treasonable utterances, made a prisoner On battle ships for fiftysix years and doomed never to hear tho word “home” and never again to see tho land he spurned. A superb cast headed by Edward Hearn as Nolan and Pauline Starke as An'no Bissell aided the Fox director and made possible a masterpiece of unusual charm and merit. The other big attraction is “I Will Repay,” adapted from Baroness Orczy’s thrilling novels, I “Scarlet Pimpernel.” AT THE PALACE. AN INTERESTING PROGRAMME. A very attractive programme of music and pictures will bo presented at the Palace Thealro to-night. Oponing the performance, the popular Palace select orchestra will be heard to advantage in “Community Land.” Later in the programme a special request item entitled, “Oh Doris, Where Do You Live?” will bo featured. The star picturo is entitled “The Latest from Paris” and features that dainty comedienne, Norma Shearer. Supporting pictures include the comedy, “Never tho Domes Shall Meet,” a New Zealand beauty soenic, and a Metro-Goldwyn nows. The plan is located at Martin’s Bookshop or at the theatre. THEATRE DE LUXE. BEERY AND HATTON TO-MORROW. The “Bing Boys” of laughter and hilarious fu : n, Wallace Bocry and Raymond Hatton, will appear at tho Theatre do Luxe to-night in their latest Paramount comedy success, “Wife Savers.” This is their fifth in the series which started with “Behind the Front.” Like this last named fun maker, the boys aro in uniform. but tho action takes place after the armistice is signed. Wally was a mountain climber —with a voice that started 6now slides. Ray, before ho went away, left his Swiss miss in Wally’s care. When the law decreed that all girls get married, her idea of safety was to marry Wally. But when Ray came back he had different ideas. With past successes as sailors, soldiers, airmen and firemon, Beery and llattan wero never as funny as they are in “Wife Savers” when they turn to mountain climbers.
