A doctor expresses the opinion that Crawford’s bronchial asthma is the result of nerves. A message from Rome published on Monday stated that seventy-five minutes sufficed for the annihilation of the Australian Crawford, by de Mcrpurgo. “Crawford was an obviously sick man, but did well in the first set owing to Morpurgo’s mistakes.
