MILITARY TRAINING.
ATTITUDE OF PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. May 9. A deputation representing, the General Assembly, of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand asked the Minister of Defence to-day to reverse the magisterial decisions made in respect of certain Presbyterians who were recently, fined for their refusal as conscientious objectors to undergo military training. Tho Minister emphasised that he was unable to sit in judgment on questions of fact decided by magistrate and declined to act as requested.
