SUPREME COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH SESSIONS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 8. Only, seven indictments were submitted at the criminal session of the Supreme Court to-day. His Honour, Mr Justice Adams, congratulated the grand Jury and commented on the complete absence from the calendar of crimes relating to sex.
AUCKLAND SESSIONS
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 8. Mr Justice Macgregor, in his charge to the grand jury at the opening of the criminal session of the Supreme Court, said that the number of grave charges somewhat deplorable state of affairs. Referring to the charge of murder against Allen George Norgrove, His Honour said that the duty of the grand jury was perfectly clear, although the common jury might have to consider Norgrove’s mental condition.
