HOKOWHITU SCHOOL.
SHORTAGE OF ACOMMODATION
On Saturday morning a deputation representing tho Hokowhitu school Committee —Messrs J. T. J. ITeatlcy (charman), G. i). and A.* JShaler —waited upon Mr J. A. Nash, M.P.,'in connection with the shortage of accommodation at the school. After pointing out the rapid growth of the Hokowhitu School since its establishment, the deputation stated that, at present, the pupils of Standards IV. and V., some 90 in all, were occupying one room with two teachers. This, 'it was contended, vyas not in the best interests of the children.. Mr Nash promised to interview the Minister for Education, Hon. R. A. Wright, with a view to having the matter remedied.-
