AEROPLANE CRASHES.
A PILOT KILLED. THREE PASSENGER R SERIOUSLY INJURED. BERLIN, Jan. 21. A Cologne message states that two serious French passenger ’plane crashes are reported. In the first, on the Paris-Berlin route, a ’plane became befogged and crashed in a wood near Tecklenburg, Prussia, where it was wrecked. A Frenchman jumped out and was slightly injured, and two Gormans were dangerously hurt. The pilot succumbed. Tho second crash occurred near Essen, three passengers being seriously injured.—A. and N.Z. cable. COBHAM RESUMES FLIGHT. MALTA, Jan. 21. Sir Alan Cobliani lias resumed his flight en route to Benghazi (a north African seaport).—Australian Press Association and Sun cable.
